English to Spanish: 60 Second Digital Thermometer Detailed field: Other
Source text - English NOTE : Relax and wait approximately 5 minutes with your mouth closed before taking a reading if you have just exercised, smoked or consumed any caffeinated beverages. This will reduce the chances of an incorrect reading.
1. Place a new probe cover carefully over the thermometer tip.
2. Place the probe tip under the tongue as near as possible to the heat pocket. The diagram below shows how your temperature can vary by not placing it in the heat pocket areas. To obtain the most accurate reading hold the thermometer in your closed mouth in the same position.
3. The previous reading is shown then the °F starts flashing and a new reading is taken.
4. When the new reading is done the °F stops flashing and 10 beeps will sound.
5. To turn the unit off, press the ON/OFF button, otherwise it will automatically turn off after approximately 10 minutes.
5. Para apagar la unidad presione el botón ON/OFF, o la misma se apagará automáticamente luego de aproximadamente 10 minutos.
Spanish to English: Interfaz Sistema de Gestión de Almacenes
Translation - English Files Transfer
• Transfer in both directions will be performed by using interchange subdirectories located in the host disk and specifically created for such purpose.
• The SGA will be able to access such subdirectories through FTP, or by establishing the root directory as a network unit, if allowed by the network settings.
• The system which generates files in a subdirectory will have to assign each of them a number. If this action is not performed and the system generates several files which in time are not gathered by the other system, the previous data will be lost. Thus, the file name will be composed of a 'K' plus a 6-digit number that will be the sequential number corresponding to the generated file.

Experience
Years of experience: 22. Registered at ProZ.com: Aug 2006.
I had always loved to read, write, and learn foreign languages when I first entered the world of translation. Of course it was only when I started at the Translation School that I realised what the actual translator's work was. The translator is someone let's say 'invisible' in the task of communication but essential. Someone who is amazingly fond of knowing new cultures and new topics. Someone who fights for clarity and naturality of conveying ideas.
Some years have passed and I still don't picture myself doing something else than translating.
