I am a Petroleum Engineer from Venezuela. I lived for four years in the U.S.A. during my elementary school years and have a strong English background although technically my mother tongue is Spanish. I worked as a Field Engineer in Venezuela for a couple of years until I had my first child and decided to push forward my work as a translator. I have been a freelance translator on and off for my whole life, working translations since my early days in college, during my internships and my work as a professional. I also have made translations and served as a simultaneous interpreter for Oil and Gas related businesses in my country for the past three years. I am currently involving myself more in internet translation groups and learning how to network with other translators around the world. My specialty areas of interest involve technical translations in the Energy Business, however, I believe every translation is a gift and a challenge, no matter what the topic is. Helping others to communicate between the Spanish and English has been a part of my life since day 1. And it has always been a pleasure! |
