Professional translation has been my aspiration for a long time. I have been learning English for sixteen years. I completed two years of English Studies at the University of Szczecin in Poland, including subjects such as: English, Translation, English Grammar, Descriptive Grammar, English Literature, History of English, Linguistics, Writing, Phonology, Phonetics, History of Britain, History of The United States, Methodology, Study Skills. I have a Certificate in English, granted by the British Council. In January 2007, I am starting A Diploma in Translation Distance Learning Course at City University in London.
As far as my education regarding Polish language is concerned, I have BA degree in Social Studies, Academy of Arts, Szczecin, Poland and four years Polish course finished with excellent results in Matura exam in Polish – equivalent of English A level Exams.

For the last two years, I have lived and worked in Newport, South Wales. I have been working as a civil servant since July 2004. During that time, I had a chance to provide my translation services several times.

I am interested in a home based translation in particular. I have all necessary technical resources, such as PC, an internet connection, a phone, etc.
