I was born in Iran. Graduated from Shiraz University (1st Class Hons in 1970). Continued further education in Reading University (MSc, PhD 1977). I have been working for BBC Monitoring as Persian translator/interpreter since 1979. Retired end of August this year. I have translated many articles and books on various subjects.
My wife was born in Britain. She is also a graduate from Reading University (German, French and Italian languages). She could edit my work (if necessary).
