I am recently out of school, stepping out into the world of translation. My first job was translating a wedding ceremony for a French-Canadian/American wedding and then I worked on translating a text on Eratosthenes for published author Nick Nicastro. I have studied at the American University of Paris, including study in French-English and English-French translation. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ithaca College with a B.A. in French Studies and a minor in Theatre. I am a member of Phi Delta Phi, the French Honor Society and I also hold an award from the American Association of Teachers of French. I was a French Club officer throughout college and have spent a year living and studying in France. I was a French Teachers Assistant, teaching my own course of university-level students. I am professional and responsible and am very strict about meeting deadlines. I would love to be considered for your translation job. Thank you! Merci!
