The criteria’s for the acceptance of the system follows the technical requirements of the system.
All criteria’s have to be tested and evaluated.
The results of the acceptance test should be within the accepted tolerances.

Thickness profile accuracy ± 0.15 %

2. Acceptance Procedure
The test will be executed with certified cold samples which have all the same known chemical composition.
The samples are delivered with the system (option) or will be provided by the customer. The dimensions of the sheets and the definition of the thickness will be agreed with the customer.
The samples cover the whole material thickness range of the specific application.
It will be used approx. 10 samples for the calibration. It is possible to use also combinations of these samples.
1. Calibration
The test procedure starts with the calibration of the system. 10 samples will be put manually in the measuring system.
After this calibration procedure the calibration curve will be stored in the system and used for the measuring of the system.
2. Confirmation of the measuring accuracy
Centre line measurement
The confirmation of accuracy of the thickness measurement will be performed with 3 samples. The samples are at approx. 10%, 50% and 90% of the upper range value. Each sample will be put several times in the beam path and the value recorded, displayed and listed in a form.
The values will be checked with the nominal value.
Profile measurement
For the profile measurement each array will be tested. We divide the strip in four parts (each array) and confirm the accuracy for each single array.
The samples will be put into the beam path and the values will be recorded. With the recorded values the average of the sample will be calculated and compared with the nominal value. The difference between the recorded and the nominal value have to be within the guaranteed values.
3. Width measurement
For the width measurement several certified cold samples provided by the customer will be used for the confirmation of the width measurement accuracy.
The sample will be put under the measuring device at several positions and the width value will be recorded.
The recorded values have to be within the offered guaranteed values.
