I have always lived/worked in environments where multiple languages coexisted, whether it is in Africa (Amharic, Tigrena and Oromigna) or in North America (English and French).                          I am an engineer by training as well as a geomatician. While working in Ethiopia in the 2000's, I did freelance work in translation. I translated regional agreements documents and in some cases took on interpreting roles during regional ngos meetings.
