I moved to the US in 2005. Planning to start a new life here and to achieve the World’s Dream the American Dream.
Because of my school high achievements (92.5% GPA) I got a scholarship, in 1998, to Cairo University, one of the most famous schools in the world, to have the opportunity to get a degree in law, in 2002 I graduated from the law school with 3.2 GPA and got back to Holy Lands I worked for the Palestinian Bar Association for two years as a trainee lawyer. During this period I worked very hard to attain legal experience, also I worked very hard to be acquainted with other languages particularly English and Hebrew, besides my native language Arabic.
As soon I finished the required period to have the license to work as a practitioner lawyer in 2005, I moved to the US. Upon my arrival I began working on my Master Degree in Political Science- American Government.
Experiences and Aspirations
The Political Science Department at Western Illinois University offered me a graduate assistantship from the first semester and I have been working as a part time graduate assistant till 12/15/2006. 3.5 GPA I attained in my last semester Fall 2006. Also I have been working as a part time worker at Western Dining from 12/15/2005 to 12/15/2006 with cooking, serving, and janitorial duties.
By the beginning of 2007 I resolved to get married and I moved to Bloomington-Illinois to reside with my wife. Because of the regular house expenses besides the expenses of the immigration issues that I am working on these days I really need any kind of employment.
