Hello,

My name is Wendy. I am 40 something. I have a 17 1/2 year old daughter who no longer lives at home. I am a personal carer for my mother in my rented home.
I have two wee dogs and a rainbow lorrikeet. All three rule the roost!

I am an avid reader, 5-6 novels a week sometimes. I do volunteer proofreading with Distributed Proofreaders, Project Gutenberg. Almost up to P2 status there.

I am also a volunteer with Riding for the Disabled. We have fun with horses and people with disabilities. Though many of them are more capable than I.

I have completed a proofreading course here in Australia with the Australian College of Journalism through Thomson Education Direct, a distance learning facility.

I would love to do proofreading in a freelance capacity as that allows me to work from home so I keep an eye on mum at the same time.
