I am a postgraduate of Faculty of Arts & Humanities, Department of English Langauage and Literature, Aleppo University, Syria and a holder of Higher Diploma in Translation.
After graduation, I was appointed as an assistant lecturere for teaching linquistics to sophomores, the matter which lasted for almost 18 months.
Taking into consideration the insufficient salary and the need to build my future, I decided to settle in Dubai, UAE, where I initially started teaching English language in two private schools adopting the GCSE, IGCSE, TOEFL and SAT.
Teaching is a sacred career but I always wanted to be self-employed and, therefore, started rendering legal translation services for almost 12 years so far through my Arkadia Legal Translation, located in Dubai, UAE. I can fairly surely say the I have successfully established long-term business relationship with many local advocates and multinational companies with whom I am mainly busy in legal matters and on daily basis. Apart from the legal domain, I have also done some translation of political, advertising, medical and business-oriented nature.
I love to translate from Arabic into English and vise versa and my office is my baby.
Everybody knows that UAE is a bilingual country attracting many business companies to be established in the Middle East.
The multinational companies which wish to have a representative office in Dubai, being the hub of business in the region, need to have their documentations translated into Arabic to meet the basic requirements of the local and federal authorities here, the fact that brings my bread and butter.
I have assisted in establishing 46 multinational companies which till now rely entirely on my services when it comes to notarizing the contracts, agreements, memorandum of understanding and the like arising from their operational activities.
As far as pricing is concerned, I go for 0.6 cent per word.
Trust the above will do and I genuinely wish to establish good business links globally.
Thank you for your assistance.
