Finished the Master’s degree on Tradumatica, Translation and Information Technologies, in the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (Spain) in 2004. Previously, in 2001, I received the Bachelor’s Degree on Translation and Interpreting in the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona.
I completed the Master on Scientific and Technical Translation in the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Spain). I have collaborated with the Institut d'Estudis Catalans in the elaboration of the Diccionari Jurídic Català and with the UN Food and Agriculture Organization as external consultant translator.
I am freelance translator, localiser, tester, reviewer and project manager in the following language combinations: English/Italian > Spanish/Catalan; and also Spanish <> Catalan. I have worked with several localization and translation companies, with which I participated in the localization of IBM products, Microsoft’s Catalan lexicon for Tablet PC, Windows Online Content, Nokia and Google products, as well as OpenOffice in collaboration with Termcat and Softcatalà.
In 2008, I became a Level One Certified Localisation Professional (CLP) from The Institute of Localisation Professionals (TILP), and SDL Trados Certified.
