I´m journalist and also a Professor. My thesis is about audiovisual projects envolving Brazilian movies (City Of God, Antonia), television series (City of Men, Antonia), and local filmmakers in a partnership with national media groups, and international groups such as Miramax (Disney). My new project aim the international markets, focusing on Latin America. I would like to translate works and texts, not necessarily academic studies, that analyze "Americanization" and other cultural sub-centers in a comparison, and cross media. Now, I have finished a translation that deal with investigative journalism, and I´ve started writing an essay about MTV Brazil.
