My name is Andras Kovacs, I am 23 and come from the western Transdanubian region of Hungary. At this time I am a graduating student of the Western-Hungarian University in Sopron at the faculty of economics, and I specialized in foreign trades. I am about to take the state examination and to earn my degree in January 2008. Simultaneous with attending courses, I am going to have a trainee job at a commercial bank, and get some money and pieces of experience out of it. I am really interested in processes in the economy, in finances, in politics and last but not least in languages, especially in English. As far as my English knowledge is concerned, I have been learning this language for little bit more than 12 years, I started it when at elementary school. Frankly said, I can only thank to my enthusiasm about English, that I managed to take my advanced-level English exam in 2002. It goes without saying, that I have kept practising and using English both written and oral since that time. During my studies at the university, I got the opportunity to get to know and major at the technical english language of economics and to broaden my vocab related to that. At the summer of 2005 I was asked by one of my friends for helping him to guide some of his english relatives and friends coming to Hungary throughout Balatonfüred showing all major spots that was worth being sightseen. So I became an english-speaking guide for some days. In 2006 I was commissioned by a firm of my friend to execute some translations from English to Hungarian. From time to time I got English texts, contracts, papers, slogens that I was supposed to put into Hungarian. They were satisfied with me, but telling the truth we did not sign any kind of contract of agency or employement.
Now I would like to obtain some kind of translational jobs (primarily from English to Hungarian) either on regular intervals or from time to time, but not once in a blue moon at least. I am sure, I am capable of executing jobs of this kind again, so I am waiting to deliver evidence of that.
