My backgound in the real estate and securities industry required me to be a skilled interviewer and negiotiator, as well as formulating plans to create and implement successful projects in my field of endeavor. Those skills can now be put to work interviewing and writing about people, places and projects in the real estate industry that have notable effect on the public, industry and commerce, and job creation throughout the world.
I have been associated with the commercial investment real estate and mortgage industry for 30+ years as a licensed real estate broker and commercial mortgage consultant. Additionally, I have previously held NASD Series 7, Series 24, and Series 65 licenses in the securities industry. During a nine year span I was an associate professor at Penn State University, Berks Campus, and taught in the continuing education program instructing real estate finance, real estate investments, sales and theory and practice as well as completing Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute's(CIREI) "Train the Trainer" program.
Consulting assignments have been in the area of sale/leaseback transactions, Section 1031 tax-deferred exchanges, site selection and due diligence of specified projects and finance package preparation.
