I was born in Bogotá, Colombia, but moved to the U.S. when I was 5 and a half. I lived in the U.S. for over 30 years and served in the U.S. Navy for 4 years, where I was an official translator. I have mainly worked in the healthcare industry (pharmaceutical). I'm a Certified Pharmacy Technician since 1993. I have worked with translations between English and Spanish in many of my jobs. I have mainly done medical terminology, patient information monographs, brochures, certificates, legal documents, human resources documents, sports related, college work assignments, business newsletters, pharmaceutical posters and websites. My specialty is from Spanish to English.
My emphasis is on style while remaining true and accurate to the subject matter. That's why it's important to be familiar with the content that you're translating. This is something that I've always practiced when working on translation projects.
I'm very thorough, professional, accurate and deliver each project in a timely manner, usually before the deadline.
