My name is Evangelos Rigakis but for ease I go by the name Evan. Born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. My heritage is Greek and I have known Greek since I was able to talk, though being raised in Canada, my mother tongue is English. I did attend Greek School in Ottawa, where I learnt to read and write Greek. At the age of 25 I moved to Greece from which I traveled all over Europe and some other close by places such as Egypt, Russia, and even as far as India.
I have been a writer all my life and was first published at the age of 27, I currently have two published books in circulation. I have studied Psychology and Fine Arts at Ottawa University and I have a diploma in Medical Transcription from U.S. Career Institute. While I was in Greece, in 1990, I began translating Greek to English for political, legal and medical clients. Writing in any form, whether it is of my own creation or transcribing or translating others, is my great passion and a main source of enjoyment for me.
Keywords: marriage certificates, diplomas, legal papers, medical reports, political papers, literary works of all kinds, transcriptions, true translations, fast service, quality work
