My degree from Rutgers University is in Spanish, and as a language lover, I have also studied French for six years. I graduated with high honors from Rutgers. I've studied at the University of Granada, in Spain, as well as at a small cultural immersion school in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Though I am a native English speaker, my household is Spanish-speaking, as my husband and extended family are from Ecuador.
I have been using my skills in translation and interpretation since I started studying Spanish, in 1992. Until now, all of my work has been pro bono. I've done court interpretation; school enrollments; policy and manual translation and certificates and legal documents.
I'm delighted to be entering the translation profession, and look forward to a successful career!
