アメリカ高校留学後、関西外国語大学で専門的に英語を学習する（英語で歴史・哲学・倫理学・社会学を学ぶ）。続いてサイマル・アカデミーで通訳・翻訳を、映像翻訳アカデミーで映像翻訳を学び、現在バベル翻訳大学院で翻訳を勉強（専攻は映像翻訳）。特に演劇(自身もミュージカル・舞台で活動)・映画・西洋美術を得意とする。2003年からフリーで翻訳の依頼を受け始め、本「LOST(ロスト)」「武士道」（e-book）の上訳（共訳）、アフガニスタン内戦資料やコトパンジャン・ダム訴訟関連報道記事など世界情勢関係の翻訳、ドキュメンタリー映画の日英字幕翻訳、映画台本、音楽歌詞日英翻訳などを手がけてきた。

I have learned English during my study abroad to U.S. for a year, and at Kansai Gaidai Foreign Language University (studied history, philosophy, ethics, and sociology in English). Recently, I was graduated from a graduate school, majoring in translation. My own ground is drama, arts, movie. I have worked as a translator on freelance basis, doing books (novels, nonfiction), articles about international affairs, movie captions, movie scripts, lyrics and more.
