I was born in Ithaca, New York and was raised in the states untill I was 10 years old. After that I spent 15 years in Korea including my 26 month service in the Korean Army. At the age of 25 I came back to the states to attend Baruch College, and majoring in Accounting. Since then I was doing some freelance tranlating, such as translating masters theses just to help out my colleagues back in Korea.
The first paid project I actually participated was in December of 2006 where I assisted Genenva Worldwide, a tranlating firm in Manhattan, to translate the regents exam from English to Korean.
Also I had been working at a Korean church for almost two years. I often translated documents and gone over the ones that the pastors translated themselves.
