Mainly an alpinist, surely a globetrotter, possibly a scientist, definately a wannabe translator. Born and grew up in Italy, I lived for 4 years in UK where I learned the language 'on the field' and not on some books. Now, whether this is n advantage or an handicap, only time will tell. I fell I master the English language quite well, and what's probably more important, I got a felling for it. OK, grammar and syntax are not necessarily my best weapons, but I surely can tell you when a sentence in English flows and when it doesn't. That is why while working for a biotech company here in Tuscany, I am currently studying for a master course on specialistic translation at the language school of Vicenza.
Soon enough I'll have a qualification which hopefully will allow me to fully dive into the crazy, amazing wolrd of professional translations.
