I got started with WANO's quarterly brochure. WANO stands for the World Association of Nuclear Operators. Since then, I have worked on different disciplines, mainly law (licensing contracts, patents, contract specifications), economic-scientific reports (annual reports, accounting statements, financial rating reports...), business papers (power point presentations, mainly), engineering (naval, nuclear engineering), and statistics (my current work for INE - Spanish National Statistics Institute).
As a freelance translator, I had the chance of alternating with a permanent job as a Process Reengineering Consultant, mainly for power utilities, granting me vast knowledge on both the Business/Consulting and Utility fields.
I am currently working as Spanish-English part-time translator for the National Statistics Institute of Spain, translating everything from press-releases to statistical reports, methodologies, user requests...
My accomplishments are best described by my clients (all from which I can provide references): General Electric, Navantia, SMC Networks, World Association of Nuclear Operators Philips Ibérica, Union Fenosa, Soluziona, BMC Software, among others included in my resume.
