CV available upon request
Since graduating in Translation Studies from the Universidad del Salvador, Argentina, I have worked as an in-house translations project manager and freelance translator. As a translations project manager in London and the South of England, I was able to capitalize on the importance of an efficient and friendly customer service, as well as honing my proofreading skills.
As freelance translator, I have worked in the fields of social and international development, business and marketing, certificates and CVs, environment, human resources, tourism, religion, motoring, golf, agriculture and education, among others, translating mainly from English into Spanish and from Spanish into English. (I can translate from and into South American and neutral Spanish.)
I consider myself 'cradle-bilingual' in English and Spanish, given I was born into a family of English origin, and, despite being brought up in Argentina, received a bilingual education from nursery to university level and spoke in English at home.
I have also worked as a freelance interpreter dealing with migration issues.
I am a member of the Insitute of Translating and Interpreting and of the Chartered Institute of Linguists. I am an honest and reliable person who has never missed a deadline. I am happy to do short free test translations. References provided upon request.
