Bio
I have an experience in localizing Windows CE operating system software for palm computers at Microsoft, and have taken on translating projects of Microsoft, IBM, and Oracle (software manuals, e-learning files and so on).

I am also experienced in translating newspapaer articles and IT-relatad articles to be published on web sites and articles to be included in a mail magazine for paid circulation.

Other fields I have translated in are business correspondence, documents for import and export of goods, criteria for public stock offering in Singapore, contract for franchise purchase, building material brochures, and manuals for electric appliances, an English text book for an English-learning radio program broadcast by the Japanese official national television (NHK).

I am now eager to expand my translation field to an environmental sector. I have a masters degree in International Environmental Policy, and I have translated an policy related article at one of the largest Environmental NGO (US-based), National Wildlife Federation.

Right now, I am learning solar energy systems so that I could contribute to the further promotion of renewable energy through translation and interpretation.

As for my interpretation experience, I have assisted a sword performance troupe KAMUI in preparation for putting on performances at Fringe Festival 2008 in Edinburgh, Scotland, by translating related documents and communicating with a venue, and accompaning the troupe in Edinburgh as an interpreter for two weeks.
