I worked as a patent translator at a Japanese semiconductor research laboratory for two years, and more recently I have been freelance translating in a variety of fields, including business, tourism, microbiology, and law.

My strong translation skills are backed by my excellent understanding of the Japanese language and excellent English writing and research skills. I take pride in producing high quality work.

I have spent a total of nine years working in Japan, and I passed Level 1 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test with high scores in 2003.
