Index description
The selection of index constituents follows a formalized, rule-based approach, targeting investment opportunities in Emerging Markets. The process rationale is a “best-of-class” approach, targeting the optimal exploitation of investment opportunities in emerging markets.
Currency hedge
The Index is denominated in USD, whereas the certificates are denominated in USD, EUR and CHF. The currency exposure of the EUR and CHF certificates is reduced through a currency hedge, which is embedded in the certificate and which costs are deducted from the value of the corresponding certificates.
Extension Options of the Issuer
The certificate has a fixed term subject to the extension options of the Issuer.
Benefits
Broad and diversified exposure to multiple hedge funds pursuing various absolute return strategies in one single certificate with a small minimum initial investment of only 10 certificates.
Risks
Hedge Funds are non-traditional funds which may involve higher risks than traditional investments. Such risks may be their extensive use of short-selling, derivatives and leverage.
Investments in the certificates have a similar potential for profit or loss as comparable direct investments in the hedge funds contained in the index.
Source text - Chinese Unless expressly opposed by the Non-transferring Party in writing, where the Non-transferring Party fails to give an Acceptance Notice to the Transferring Party within 30 days upon receipt of the Transferring Notice, the Non-transferring Party shall be deemed to have consented to the proposed transfer. The Transferring Party may enter into an equity transfer agreement with the Third Party on the terms and conditions proposed in the Transfer Notice or on the terms and conditions no more favorable than the terms and conditions proposed in the Transfer Notice. After such execution, the Transferring Party shall provide the Non-transferring Party with a copy of the executed written agreement with the Third Party.
