I'm a native U.S. English speaker and I translate from Korean and French into English. I specialize in commercial real estate and military/defense translations, as I have years of real world experience in both of these industries. While studying Korean at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California I earned my Associate of Arts Degree in Korean Language & Literature from Monterey Peninsula College. I lived in South Korea for over a year, participating in many joint force exercises between the U.S. and R.O.K. armies, and while there went through a 3 week Korean refresher course with a Yonsei University instructor. I earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in French Literature from Utah State University. Having participated in two family stay programs in France, I also successfully completed the advanced French course at L'IFALPES (L'Institut Français des Alpes) in Annecy, France with a “Mention Très Bien." Most recently I spent a year working for CB Richard Ellis, a world leader in commercial real estate, training as a commercial appraiser. I am a hard worker, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines with quality work. |
