I was born in Italy and was raised in different European countries. My first speaking languages were Italian, Dutch, and English. My kindergarten years were spent in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, whereas my first writing language was English, but I attended secondary school and went to university in the Netherlands. After having studied history for four years, I trained as an archivist.

Since 2006, I have worked as a freelance translator and technical writer, my company name is i-write. My previous working experience includes eleven years as a database administrator and software project supervisor with an educational publishing company.

Although I like to work in the field of information technology, I have also translated psychometric manuals, reports, and materials, and various company websites. Furthermore, I have translated various books on marketing and ritten several Dutch and English texts. And I still keep track of my original working fields in the history department and the archives.

I am used to working with different software programs and tools, and love to learn new technologies.
