Bio

Professional
English, Portuguese, Spanish and French translator and reviewer, with 27 years
experience. I am extremely dedicated and accurate and steadily relied upon
for review especially of audiovisual material.

My
expertise lies in translating and reviewing films, documentaries, and series for
the media and entertainment industries, mainly for subtitling.

I have worked as a translator, reviewer and
quality checker for network companies like Netflix (through vendors), HBO
(in-house), Fox, Warner Bros, Sony Pictures, Captions, Inc., TV Globo, Amazon, Pixelogic, among
others, and for many International Film Festivals, as well as a technical
translator for big corporations like Petrobrás.

English and
Portuguese are my main working languages, but I have advanced knowledge and
extensive professional experience translating from French and Spanish to
Portuguese.

I have
lived and studied in London, UK, for seven years and I have traveled around
South America and Europe for many years, so I have excellent cross-cultural
skills.
