kitapta ilk bolum..chapter 1..
|Translation - English|
It was again preached aloud by his soul that he could never look at his wife and his five children’s face because of the shame he felt in his soul. The wet ground of the dungeon could not take the weight of the former most trusted man of the palace’s ragged honor and dignity any longer. The light coming through the very gloomy window, that was close to the top of the dungeon, was hardly visible. He could not distinguish the night and day in this place anymore where nothing but the humming in the background was vocal. He bended his knees toward his face on the ground of the dungeon and crossed his two hands around his ankles. He could no longer feel the presence of his over exhausted body. He fell down near the divan like a careened ship and looked into the last beam of light coming through the very small birds-eye-like window hole, even not noticing that this moment was the time he gave his last breath before his body released his soul.
