I am a native German and English speaker with extensive experience translating historical documents and literature. I graduated with distinction with a B.A. in German, History, European Studies and International Studies. I am an international scholar who has lived and studied in both the United States and Germany. I was awarded a Fulbright Grant to Germany where I worked in the Berlin branch of the Institut fuer Zeitgeschichte-Muenchen (Institute for Contemporary History). I am currently living in the United States. While I do not have actual certification as a translator, I have years of translation experience both in the academic and private sector. I have done translation work for two history books currently in publication and set to appear in the spring of 2009 - one written in English, the other in German.
