I grew up bilingually with German and Czech, so that translating became something like my second nature. I studied Arabic and Russian at the translation institute in Graz/Austria. During this time I started working as a translater and interpreter not only for these two languages but also for English and Czech. I then specialized on translations in the social field, especially in some NGOs who offer help and assistance for refugees. Soon I came in contact with people who study shamanism and healing art, as I started to be interested in this myself and finished a shiatsu-training myself. I started to translate and work as an interpreter at different occasions like congresses, symposiums and workshops about alternative medicine and healing, ecology, religion, psychotherapy, new age, shamanism etc. At the same time I studied Spanish which became one of my main languages in the meanwhile, together with Russian and English.
Sometimes I also work as a translater and interpreter for some austrian companies who are expanding their activities to the Czech Republic and Russia, especially in the field of timber work.
With arabic I used to work as an interpreter for psychotherapy and at the moment I am involved in an art project in Sinai/Egypt as I studied the Egyptian dialect on a half year scholarship in Cairo. Travelling through the Arabic world I also studied the dialects of the middle east.
Sometimes I also translate from French.
