While I am essentially new to translating and interpreting, I have had limited experience in terms of traveling to francophone countries with friends and family who do not speak French. Hence, I became the group interpreter. I lived in Lyon, France for five years during high school and developed an Alsacian accent.
In college, I got my bachelor's degree in French and secondary education. Many of the courses I took had material relevant to translation.
I have taught French at the high school level for a year and a half, teaching all levels including literary and business French. |
