I am a Peruvian translator and interpreter, with 23 years of experience
working from English and French into Spanish. I now live in Belgium, in Sint
Niklaas, have a TVA number and am a member of the Belgian Chamber of
Translators, Interpreters and Philologists. In Peru I worked for most
United Nations agencies who appreciate the quality and timely compliance of
my translation and interpreting services. I shall gladly send you copies of
their letters of reference upon your request. I enclose my resume and some
samples of my work, as well as information on the equipment I use.

In the Literary Contest of San Marcos University I was awarded a mention on
the "Testimonial" category and have also contributed with several articles
to Cultural magazines in Peru.

I have worked for several months in the localisation of the Lima Stock
Exchange software, and many other financial and banking companies. As interpreter I have worked on several seminars for the World Bank in Peru.

I have interpreted more than 300 international meetings and training
courses, and my application to AIIC's membership has been endorsed by the
three Peruvian interpreters who belong to that organisation.

My rates for plain text translations are 90 Euro per 1000 translated words
on non-technical translations and 100 for technical translations. Depending
on volume considerations these rates are negotiable. My average daily
production is 1500 words.
