I worked 20 years in the sales department of a company that delivered complete industrial plants, such as sulphuric acid plants, to Polish and foreign customers. Then I worked two years as sales specialist for the Kraków, Poland based environmental protection division of ABB Zamech. Then, since 1995, I have been a freelance translator/interpreter. My regular clients are: ABB, Alstom Power, Lurgi, ArcelorMittal, Veolia Water, law firms. I translate contracts and commercial and technical offers, patent descriptions, legal opinions, European Standards. I have been doing a lot of interpreting for the steelmaker ArcelorMittal, including one year at the commissioning of the new hot rolling mill.

Pracowałem 20 lat w dziale handlowym firmy, która dostarczała kompletne obiekty przemysłowe w Polsce i na eksport. Następnie przez 2 lata w dziale handlowym oddziału ABB dostarczającego instlacje ochrony środowiska. Od 1995 r. prowadzę własną działalność jako tłumacz. Moimi stałymi klientami są: ABB, Alstom Power, Lurgi, ArcelorMittal, Veolia Water, kancelarie adwokackie. Tłumaczę umowy i oferty handlowe i techniczne, opisy patentowe, opinie prawne, normy europejskie. Wykonuję wiele tłumaczeń ustnych dla huty ArcelorMittal, w tym od roku na rozruchu nowej walcowni gorącej.
