University of Warsaw graduate, MA in English philology. I wrote my MA thesis on similarities between seemingly disparate translations of Shakespeare into Polish from 19th and 20th centuries. I have a solid theoretical background in the theory of translation.

I started translating several years ago as a student and briefly did it full-time after studies before I joined Electronic Arts, one of the biggest video game producer in the world, as a translation coordinator for almost 3 years. I did pretty well in this very demanding working environment (tight deadlines, substantial know-how involved). I still translated (for EA whenever necessary and for a few of my regular contacts as well) and did lots of proofreading of software translations. Then I decided to go on my own again.

I'm excellent in formal writing, fluent in academic style, I have a linguistic background and extensive expertise in software translations. As a car and sports freak I'm knowledgeable in these two fields as well. The scope of translations I currently do includes mainly marketing, mobile/video games and websites.
