Welcome to my ProZ profile!

I am a formally trained Korean and English interpreter and translator located in Los Angeles, California. I am completely bilingual and bi-cultural. I consider both languages to be my native language.

I received my BA from UCLA and received my certification from UCLA Extension's Court Interpretation and Translation and have gained extensive experience in many diverse fields. I have worked in-house for telecommunication and tech companies (like SKT, Virgin Mobile, Helio), translated medical journals, educational materials, legal documents, website and app localization, etc. I also work as an interpreter for many attorneys and medical institutions in Los Angeles, CA. You can see my detailed resume in the CV/RESUME section.

Accuracy and quick turnaround are two of my strong suits. In a recent Eng-to-Korean medical (general) translation, my average words-translated-per-hour was above 600. I can provide an exact rate if you can provide me with some more information regarding your project (subject matter, desired turnaround date, etc.) because my rates will vary depending on the technicality of the subject matter and how rushed the due date is.

I look forward to getting the opportunity to work with you!
