Experience in a wide variety of fields - medical, pharmaceutical and chemistry; engineering and logistics; tourism, sports and history. I'm a personal translator to the head of logistics, French Antarctic program.
I ran a translation service for 6 years, contracting translators around Australia from Hobart. My work is now all language based: promoting and training for a national translation standards body; translation provider; guiding French and Italian speakers around Tasmania.
Working as a translator since 1993, my previous career was in public health research in NSW, Australia, and I hold a Master's in Public Health from the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, University of Sydney.
My language background and qualifications are strong and eclectic - residence in NZ, Australia, Italy, France, UK; language degree University of Sussex; postgraduate diploma in French translation.
