About me
If you want to translate words, consult a dictionary. If you want to translate meaning, consult me.

More often than not, common sense and a deeper understanding of the source material are more important than a literal translation. It is my goal to always translate the meaning of the source material and choose the words and phrases to reach your target audience. If you think this approach is marketing related, there is a good reason for that:

Prior to working as a freelancing translator and marketing specialist, I was working for international record companies, such as PolyGram, Universal Music as a product manager, Sony Music and SonyBMG as marketing director for the international repertoire. Translating the very essence of campaings which mainly originated from the US or the UK was a key factor for both marketing positions.

Even though my primary field of expertise is the marketing/entertainment sector, I realized in the past months that my style can provide a new approach to many different sectors, including fashion, pharmaceutical materials, company portraits and alcoholic beverages.

Your marketing guys and copywriters put a lot of effort in the right phrasing of your documents. Do not let them get lost in translation.
Keywords: marketing, public relations, advertising, press releases, music marketing, music industry, film, tv, media, movie, tourism, hotel, software manuals, company portraits
