English to Spanish: Thoughts of a terminal patient General field: Art/Literary
Source text - English If for only an instant God would forget that I am just a rag puppet and gave me a bit of life, I would take advantage of that little time to its best.
I would not possibly say everything I think, but I would ultimately think everything I say.
I would value things not for their value but for what they really mean.
I would not sleep a lot, I would dream more. I understand that for every minute we close our eyes, we lose sixty seconds of light.
I would walk when others are stopped, I would awaken while the others sleep.
If God gave me a piece of life, I would dress in a simple way, I would lay down under the sun, leaving bare, not only my body but my soul.

Since I was a little girl I was very keen on languages. They taught us English and French at school and, although there were some students who had lived in USA and France, I always got the top marks.
I studied translation in Colombia (English>Spanish>English) and got the title of Translator. I came to live in England where I got proficiency certificates of English and French and worked with linguists both in English, Spanish and French to a certain extent at the International Cocoa Organization for 20 years.
I am now a freelance translator and work from home and on some occasions I get contracts to work at offices in London.
I like sports specially tennis but I also follow F1 and other competitions.
