I am German native and moved to the UK 18 months ago, after graduating with a first-class (equivalent) MSc in Translation and Interpreting – in French, Spanish and English – from the Ruprecht-Karls Universität in Heidelberg, Germany in 2008. Since then, I have worked within the University of the West of Scotland’s Corporate Marketing department and as a part-time language lecturer within the institution’s lifelong learning department.
I recently gave up my full-time position with the university to concentrate on my freelance translation and teaching work with a number of high-profile public and private sector organizations in the UK and Germany, specialising in the of fields commercial (marketing and advertising), tourism and sports translation.
As well as a translator, I am also a qualified interpreter and have covered a number of top sporting events in Europe, including this season’s UEFA Europa League.
I offer the highest-standard of output, combining finely-tuned web optimisation knowledge with meticulous attention to detail and an acute awareness of the importance of a fast turnaround.
