It kept turning out oddly well-formed sentences like: I like my shampoo to phone up while I'm washing my hair.

Forum: Off topic
Topic: Delights of transcription programs
Poster: Triston Goodwin
Post title: Windows speech recognition software

I found an old copy of Dragon, but it wouldn't work on my computer, so I've been playing with the free software that comes in windows 7. I actually kind of like it for translation and my hands don't hurt after long hours like they used to.

I love it when it tries to transcribe what my wife says in her thick Argentine accent. She got a little frustrated and said "you stupid machine" and it wrote, "you need a new jean." She took that as a sign to go shopping, so I guess she doesn't want to kill it anymore.
