All the old data now lives on my new website: michaelbeijer.co.uk.

Feel free to have a look at my new website, where I am continuing to add useful terminology resources for translators:
•
•
•
•
•
• etc.

Forum: Translator resources
Topic: Termhotel
Poster: Michael Beijer
Post title: termhotel.com > beijerterm.com (name change/rebranding)

Hi everyone!

I recently decided to change the name of ‘termhotel’ to ‘beijerterm’, and I am in the process of moving everything over to

Most of the old data is there already, just need to do a bit of housekeeping. I am also constantly adding new stuff to the new site! For example, I just added this one today:

One of the reasons was that the phrase "termhotel" was having a hard time competing with hotels on Google, while the name "beijerterm" doesn't suffer from this problem.

I also like the look of:

• beijer.uk
• beijerterm.com

better than:

• beijer.uk
• termhotel.com

Michael

Thanks for sharing.
That's exactly why I started it, as I was looking for a single place to search for all those annoying terms that you know someone must have documented, somewhere. The idea is to just keep adding them all to a single website, until, one day, it will contain ... EVERYTHING ;-)

Collecting terminology resources that may be of use to us translators has long been a hobby of mine, and Termhotel.com is my latest attempt at a unified place for all of it. So far it contains only a fraction of my entire collection but I am adding stuff almost daily (see: ). I hope it is of use to some of you!

Michael Beijer

[Edited at 2022-03-20 18:01 GMT]
