In order to determine which proposed source texts are the suitable for use in contests, proposers and participants are encouraged to "highlight" (like contest entry tagging) and discuss proposed source texts. A good contest source text should pose a reasonable challenge to translators, while allowing for "separation". Refer to the "Propose a source text" overview page for all source text proposal guidelines.

Dificultades para contar chistes que les gusten a todos los hispanoparlantes

¿Alguna vez le has contado un chiste mexicano a un argentino? ¿O un chiste peninsular a un centroamericano? ¿Siempre se ríen? No. Nuevamente, propongo que los concursos consideren las variantes del español. Y dividirlos en por lo menos tres variantes (o más según la cantidad de participantes): ES peninsular, ES norteamericano (México y USA), ES sudamericano. (Y Colombia, Venezuela, Cuba, etc., dónde quedan?)
