We are currently seeking a skilled, detailed and experienced Portuguese (European) content editor with experience in the travel sector for a project with a well known client in the travel industry.
Candidates must have experience editing in the travel sector and have experience managing a team in an editorial setting.
Project tasks will include:
-Quality assurance on edited content for brief-specific and objective errors before it is submitted to the client.
-Hold brief session (call or webinar) with the PT client.
-Create a localised brief for the PT market, based on the UK master brief.
-Hold training sessions – hosting webinars and calls with the team to refresh their training on the brief when required.
-Review writer and editor training pieces – provide constructive in-production feedback to editors and writers.
-Answering content creator queries – when necessary, over Slack.
-Categorise and implement client amends according to Quill process.
-Make brief-specific / objective amends to pieces according to client feedback (x2 rounds of amends).
-Update the Network Manager and Production Editor on content creator progress and issues.
-You may occasionally be asked to support with ad-hoc administrative tasks.
-The successful candidate will be leading a team of 4 writers and 2 editors to produce two batches of hotel guides (1[HIDDEN] word travel guides) over the duration of the project, so it is essential that you have previous experience leading a team in an editorial setting.
