2019517 European Court of Human Rights into Dutch revision work

Job posted at: Sep 21, 2019 23:38 GMT   (GMT: Sep 21, 2019 23:38)

Job type: Translation/editing/proofing job
Services required: Translation, Checking/editing
Confidentiality level: MEDIUM

Languages: English to Dutch, French to Dutch

Job description:

Every so often the European Court of Human Rights in Strassbourg publishes resumes of its jurisprudence (original languages French and English).

I have been translating a number of these into Spanish (see [HIDDEN] and now am finalising one into Dutch (protection of property). These jobs are pro deo or pro bono. As I am specialised in legal and financial texts, it is (quite) easy.

Regarding the last one (into Dutch), we are talking of a (in the context) short paper, some 34,000 words which as said have already been translated - but I would prefer someone verify the texts in Dutch. For Spanish texts I have translated some 500 pages ...

Interesting work, your name comes up in an international publication (which may be of interest to lawyers, companies etc.) As said I have done the translation pro bono, I can pay 50 or 100 euros for someone to do the revision. I would not mind it takes 2 or 3 weeks, but it certainly should be finished before the end of November. Not a lot of money, but consider the glory :-)
