What was the best translation of 2014? That’s the question we’re hoping to answer with your help.  Our 20 nominees are listed below, but just like 2013 you can exercise your right to vote for a write-in candidate of your choice.  The only rules are that it must be a work of fiction and it must have been published in the English language for the first time in 2014.

Last year you gave the first ever Typographical Translation Award to Jachym Topol’s The Devil’s Workshop, translated from the Czech by Alex Zucker and published by Portobello Books.  Who will you deem worthy this year?

This initial round of voting is open until 11:59PM Eastern Time on January 31st.  The top 8 titles will then move on to the final round. More.
