Create focus and simplify your marketing efforts with a marketing
Based on the answers to the survey we will spend one hour together to create a practical marketing plan for your translation business, discussing your specialization, target market and current situation and fill out a plan for different marketing methods, target groups, action steps etc. Then the student will finalize a marketing plan on his/her own and we will get together for a second one hour call to answer questions and solidify the plan.
Contents of the marketing plan:
Evaluating and defining current situation
Defining short term and long term goals
Defining your services, your unique selling points and how you can provide value to your ideal clients
Defining your target market, who, where, what, when
What marketing activities and platforms to use
Creating a calendar and to do list for your marketing
I love helping other translators succeed by working as a trainer, coach and mentor. Apart from my 12 years as a freelance translator, I have been sharing my experience and knowledge in marketing and translation business by giving presentations, courses and at conferences and local events in North America and Europe since 2010. This training will give you two one hour one-on-one sessions plus prep work in between and after to give you:
A summary of your current business
Specific goals for your translation business
Definition of your services and how they are unique, what value they bring
Definition of your target market, who, what, where...
Specific marketing activities and channels, with action plan
Each student will have to answer a short survey of 5 questions in advance, describing your background, current situations and your goals and aspirations for your translation career. All information provided will be kept strictly confidential and not be distributed or copied in any way.
