A complete Business Plan proposal to start working as a translation professional.

You will receive a complete Business Plan prepared in Microsoft Project including:

I. Objectives: What should be included in your Business Plan?
II. Timeline: How long will every step take – how long do I need to get organized?
III. Budget: How much can I invest initially? What is essential, what is optional, what is free?

In addition: After the 60 min Presentation we will have one more hour to work on your personal Business Plan, identify any further issues, include or exclude items and adapt the Business Plan to your own personal needs and budget.

Webinar goal: To get you into the “think as a business owner” mood and identify all needs on time, plan in advance, always be a step ahead…
Target audience
Anyone who has completed his/her education in translation and wishes to start working in the field.
Learning objectives
You will be given a Business Plan that is editable and adoptable to your personal needs. I will explain all steps to you and you may modify the Business Plan according to your own pace, budget and goals.
In addition, the Workshop following the presentation will help you adjust your Business Plan to your personal needs.

How do I purchase my spot?

Bio: Irene Koukia was born in Germany.

She obtained the Travel and Tourism Consultant Diploma from IATA/UFTAA in 1992 and successfully completed the One-year translator training program at meta|φραση School of Translator Training in 2010. She also obtained a diploma as a Personal & Business Coach from ILS GmbH in April 2015, and she is studying Business Administration at the Hellenic Open University.

She is working as a Technical Translator, mainly from German/English to Greek, at her own company, Metafrasma Ltd, since 2008. She also works as a Trainer for ProZ.com since 2011, and as a Tutor for meta|φραση School of Translator Training since 2015. She is the National Representative of STEMG for Greece, following the nomination by the HASDIG, providing training and certification for ASD-STE100.
