Summary:Stand out in the business and finance translation industry. Charge more for your work as a specilized translator. M&A translation is a technical competency that company's recruiters and translation agencies consider to be very valuable.
Description
Get startet as a M&A Translator and Interpreter. Success in cross-boarder and multinational mergers and acquisitions (M&A) relies on effective understanding and communication across all parties, no matter the country or spoken language of the companies involved. The efficient, effective sharing of information between all parties to the transaction, in their language of choice, requires skilled translators and interpreters with a comprehensive understanding of the documentation it produces. As part of the business, financial and legal translation, this technical skill will help you make more money as a specialized translation. Mergers and Acquisitions refers to the consolidation of companies. A merger is a combination of two companies to form a new company, while an acquisition is the purchase of one company by another in which no new company is formed.

No course on translation, only generic M&A, lots of grammar, vocabulary and accentuation errorsDec 18, 2015

I like knowing more about M&A and learned maybe 10% more here than I knew.
Course is, despite title, no course for translators though as there was virtually no content on M&A translation challenges.
Course needs better planning as it became 1 hr and 40 minutes instead of announced 60 minutes.
The many grammar, vocabulary and erroneous accentuation errors of the trainer and his presentation sheets were distracting.
