Bio: Flávia Tafner Martins dos Santos has been working as a translator and English teacher for over 20 years. Having lived in US as an exchange student for a year, Flávia returned to Brazil and studied Linguistics at University of Campinas. She has taken part in various International and National Congresses and been published at the international magazine, Small World Language Services. As an active ProZ.com member since 2006, Flávia has contributed to the site's Article Knowledge Base with two publications on teaching and the translation profession. Along the years, she has been working as a freelancer in different segments for leading Brazilian companies. At the moment, she is taking a Pos Graduation course in Translation to enhance her skills.

Bio: French native certified translator for English and German, Anne is the Marketing Manager (and occasional in-house translator!) at GxP Language Services, a medical LSP based in Germany. She also has her own business working as a Social Media & Internet Marketing consultant, speaker and trainer for freelancers and small business owners, in the translation industry and in other industries - she has already helped hundreds of translators boost their online presence and visibility. Earlier this year, she was commissioned to manage the online image of a candidate running in the French elections - quite an experience!
